On Saturday 13th June we were on South Farm in sunny Norfolk helping Grain Brewery with their Beer Festival.
The day was a great success and much fun was had by all, not least the Morris Dancers who kept everyone amused with their dancing
and strange looking instruments!
Inapub supported the day in a couple of ways.
Firstly anyone who registered with the promo code “Grain” or set their event attendance on this page: http://www.inapub.co.uk/communities/events/past/all/2775.aspx (don’t forget to upload your photos of the event!) was entitled to get 2 £1 a pint vouchers – Bargain! As you’d expect several people cashed in on that idea!
Secondly, we ran another nearest the answer competition – similar to the one we ran at The Rose Tavern in our Bank Holiday Bonanza event in May. 
Only this time we asked 1 simple question

“How many pints are in our (Grain Brewery’s) Fermenter FV3 today”
Of course you’ll agree that isn’t hard to work out – yeah right!!
The answer was a straightforward two thousand one hundred and fifty seven, or 2157 for short.
Those at the day will know we offered 3 prizes, for the 3 nearest answers, all collecting varying amounts of fabulous, award winning Grain Brewed beer.
So, drum roll please…..
In reverse order….
In third place and the winner of 3 bottles of Grain Beer, with the answer of 1800, in the blue corner, ittttttt’s Keith Williams.
In second place and the winner of 1 case of Grain Beer, with the answer of 1884, in the red corner, ittttttt’s Judith Rogers.
And in first place, winning 2 cases or marvellous Grain brewed beer, with the incredibly close answer of 2192, in the purple corner, ittttttt’s Diane Bragg.

Thank you to everyone who took part, to everyone who came along and made the day a great success and of course to Grain Brewery for putting on such a fantastic shindig. We’ve heard rumours that they may be planning another one, so whatever you do, make sure you register in their Friends of Grain community on Inapub.co.uk (it’ll take 1 minute of your time) to ensure you find out when that event will be and make sure you’re in line for any special offers or promotions they run in the future.
